There is time to speak in both languages, with Spanish and English natives and above all, there is time to share cultures and life experiences and meet some great people. Grace organises these exchanges with such a unique style – you can see how much she genuinely enjoys organising them – I highly recommend you attend one!

I was slightly nervous attending on my own, but as soon as I arrived, I was made to feel very welcome by the host and the other people there. I spoke lots of English with people really willing to help you practise…it was a lot of fun and I will be back!

Different age ranges of people attending – the way the evening was structured and the fact that everyone was so friendly and keen to practice their Spanish/English.

I am currently studying English in London – these exchanges are great to help me improve my speaking – something I don’t get to do very often in the class.

The group is not too big (20 approx) so it is not too daunting for me – I’ve attended different socials in the past where there were too many people.

The evenings are relaxed and fun - I've met some really interesting people and look forward to going back even more now to see them again! You are provided with topics of discussion - which is great so you can get past the "where do you live and work" type of conversations!!

I liked the fact that we changed tables at regular intervals, so we could meet more people. Also the wide variety of jobs that people did - some very interesting discussions. Attending on my own was not a problem - made to feel welcome - very nice and friendly group of people.

These exchanges are exactly what I am looking for – there are not as intense as 1:1 language exchanges and the best bit is that everything is organised for you. You sit in small groups and I had lots of chance to practise my Spanish, as well as helping some Spaniards out with their English – it was a lot of fun! Thanks, Grace!

Just wanted to thank you for organising the language exchange last week. I really enjoyed the evening, and look forward to being able to participate again.

I have been to the French and English exchanges twice now and I have had a great time at both. These evenings are really friendly and you can improve your language skills in a very relaxed atmosphere. I also don’t feel embarrassed when I get a sentence or word wrong as the people there don’t judge you, everyone is there to help others!

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the event last night. You organised it really well and I think most people will have positive feedback. Its much more fun than going to a class and studying grammar. I think most people ultimately want to maintain or improve their conversation skills above all other language skills.

Just wanted to say that the evening was excellent, it really is the best language forum that is around. Without any structure, invariably all of them just become a big bunch of people having random conversations, and flipping languages. Not that there's any problem with that, but I really got more benefit from sitting down with a very small group and helpful to have a suggestion sheet of topic to discuss.
